My full name is Job Garcia. Yes, that is how you spell my name. No, it is not spelled with the letter "e" at the end, like Starbucks' employees spell it on my cups. I was born, raised, and reside in the City of Angels. My friend randomly nicknamed me G.I. Job one day in high school, and the rest is history.
My second semester of college I took a course in photography, in which I excelled and received high praises from my professor. Despite receiving such positive response to my artistic ability, I did not feel artistically apt to pursue a career in photography, or in any area of the arts. Thus, I suppressed my artistic inclination for nearly a decade. Fortunately, that all changed roughly a year ago. I am now determined to document the beauty around me and tell stories of the mundane through photography.
